Is Guay & Guay/ G&G a good brand? Empty I have heard good and bad things...

G&G used to have a lot of problems with reliability, gears striping and the like. The newer versions are supposedly very reliable and good performers, at least based of reviews and some other forums. I have heard of gears stripping and other nasty things, but these may have been from older versions. My guess is that the newer versions are reliable, but I'm not entirely sure.

IK is right about the old stuff for sure. I cannot comment on anything post 2007 but i will say this:
Great built body designs on M4 and MP5 platforms and the best UMP replica out there but Im not willing to play the $300-$400 lottery ticket to find out if mine works.
