ideas and thoughts about the field

this thread is about ideas for the field of course i have no official say about any of this but i would be more than glad to help make, dig, and build any of the ideas submitted here.

for instance i had this sweet idea for trench's and dug out bunkers for the field which as i have already stated on the weekends I'm free and would be more than happy to help out

We thought about a trench. However due to the area being so close to the canal and drainage being poor. The idea of being ankel deep in rain water stopped that one.

The adding of more conx containers, and making the compound bigger is a plus.
Building some small buildings on the chopper field could add to the fun there.
How about a fuel depot/ammo dump at one corner of the chopper field?

yeah i figured the trench idea was garbage after i remember the mud out there so yeah but anything you would like to add i would be glad to come out and help put together I'm free on the weekend and would not mind coming out to help i check the message board frequently when I'm working or at home so if you do need help just send me a message.

I played for the first time at the field last weekend the 24th at the night game...frigin Awsome. I like the idea of the trinches but understand why it's not possible in the traditional since. However you could use the containers and build up earth on either side to create hills and vally's... Just a thought. And if you guys need material ie. dirt let me know I can probably get you all the dirt you want... I work for Century Concrete and we are always lookin for places to haul dirt to just drop me a line and I can see what we can do.

Elevated Machine gunners/ Snipers nest at each end of the field.

Game idea: Small arms fire alone cannot take out these towers, A Grenade, Grenade launcher or Anti material rocket would have to disable it for the player inside to be out. Limit one gunner/sniper per side, and you can still fire on the towers with aeg fire to suppress the shooter inside. Add a spot light station to it and armor the lense with lexan.

Cost- $200-$300
Labor cost- volunteer
Practicality- 100%

a nice investment of lockers for the player's gear. esp. for those who don't have the luxury of placing the items in their car.

Well no one seems to have posted anything in a while so i thought i would drop an idea i had for the park. This is again from the perspective of someone that has not played very often at Stateline so I apologize if the idea has come up before. Since we use round robin team picking most of the time, what if we had two color armbands for each team so everyone knows who is on who's team. Im not talking about anything super bright or what not, but just something to tell one person from another. Most armed forces and countries have different camos, but i think it is asking too much to have each side wear one unified camo, so armbands work much better. I do realize that most of you know each other so that makes it a bit easier, but for those that do not it could be a big help. I cannot see this idea costing too very much, and the bands could stay at the park of course, or if some people would like to purchase the two colors on their own so they have a personal set. So just an idea to help out maybe, by the way i really like the watchtower idea, you should have a fundraiser night, maybe charge 3 or 4 dollars more for a longer night, kind of like what is going on tonite. Have a great game guys and i hope to be out soon with some new converts.
