Re: Tournaments?
Gets me to wondering if there are any large games planned that anyone has heard of, even out of state?

MBPB SWAT CHALLANGE
guys,
as long as the guys at MBPB are able to pull this off again there will be another SWAT Challenge for this year.
although i thing there will be a few details to take care of, and obviously as long as there is enough dedicated intrest the next SWAT Challenge will go on.
last year's was great!!

Re: Tournaments?
What is the SWAT challenge and what are the requirements, rules, scenarios, etc? I am new to airsoft and would like to start playing things like this with my makeshift team.

Re: Tournaments?
The Swat Challenge was a small tournament that pit team against team and individual against individual during different scenarios.
These are the scenarios i look forward to doing this year:
Sniper shoot
Pistol shoot
Hostage rescue
wounded man carry
run and gun
Thats 3 individual contests and 2 team events.
MORE DETAILS COMING SOON

Re: Tournaments?
good luck putting something like that in a matter of days. it sounds simple enough but gotta remember pre-registration, allowing enough time for as many people as possible to know about the tourney. not to mention figuring out prizes.
this year i'm willing to sacrifice my registration to help Jason put this together and officiate the event. last year, was fun but unfortunately too many people spent most of the time just waiting for their turn. but i can coordinate with Jason to work out the kinks.
needless to say... jason put 3 long months of prep in to last year's event... keep in mind he's a working/ family man too.
lastly Pipe Hitters Union Local 548 will need to defend their championship for the next tourney.

HOOAH!,
Go pipe hitters!
To all interested I'm going to have to take alot of time to put this together and with more thought than last time. John, get with me and we'l start contacting vendors/sponsors.

Re: Tournaments?
Jason, this is Damian, the guy you met at the store on saturday with the JG MP5A4. Let me know what you need for this event/tournament and I might be able to make some things happen. Where I work could have a big influence if I ask the right people.

Re: Tournaments?
Me and a few guys last year tried to put together a group of guys to go to the SWAT Challenge but we ended up not getting enough people. But this year I am part of a team of 8 guys so hopefully I can make a SWAT Challenge this year.
