ICS M4/M16 Series
I will make this brief and point out the pros and cons of this finely made weapon.
Pros- Solid construction, metal upper and lower reciever.
Velocity- 350 FPS average
Accuracy- Laser accurate to keep it short.
Range-I have pulled off 260 feet plus shots with this gun with a stock barrel.
Durability- the gun is 5 years old and shoots exactly like the day I bought her. I have dropped her, shes been stepped on, fallen on and dragged thru the mud, rain and snow- in short she still shoots.
Split gearbox makes Preventive Maintenance very easy.
Change upper gearbox in seconds! Go from 300 fps to 400+ in less than 2 minutes.
Mag capacity-450rnds
Cons- Pricey $300-$450 depending on retailer.
Barrel wobble is an issue on non-free floating RAS models. but is easily fixed permanently.
Gearbox is unique and is split in to 4 quarters, it is not 100% TM compatible for gearbox shells.
Some stocks will require professional installation by a seasoned Tech, Crane style battery stocks are an example.
Overall, this is a poor man's Systema that can use TM compatible mags.
4 outta 5 stars
