Re: looking
Bullpup is a gun design that places the ammunition feed at the rear of the gun closest to the shoulder rest. The largest advantage to this design is that it allows a much longer barrel in a more compact package. Examples of this type of gun are the British L85A1 and Steyr AUG are the most popular and well known I think. The give away eye-catching feature is the clip is always between the pistol style handle and the butt stock. The ejection port is usually farther back (closer to the butt stock) than a standard style rifle.

And alot closer to your face when stuff goes boom. Dont get me wrong, the AUG is by far one of the best bullpup designs but it is still a bullpup...

Re: looking
I think bullpups are AWESOME and only British and Australian forces use them(oh and France but that doesn't count because they don't fight in anything) so i don't understand why you say its the only gun you can reload while running away with it, when its used by forces that are well known( and not known as cowards)

Re: looking
Retreating when knowing you're about to get killed isn't cowardice, its intelligent. First rule on the battefield is don't die. If you're wondering why here goes:
1. Its a lot of paperwork and a PITA to explain how you died because you didn't want to retreat and recover.
2. You're literally dead weight. Now (If I am squad leader), I have lost two men, one to carry you and you. And one or two of my guys will now become whatever you were (radioman, rifleman, grenadier, breacher. etc.)
So don't think that because a squad or even whole brigade retreat they are cowards. Its just another strategy in the battlefield.

Gary Gordon and randy shughart died protecting a downed blackhawk crew. they new they were gonna die but they defended that blackhawk against a angry mob 200+ Insurgents.but they had to take the risk in hope of giving the crew a chance to escape, and im sure whoever is writing a report on them to was once in a lifetime chance in having the honor to think these men were willing to risk there lives for someone else. and i think there familys are honored to say that a member of there family risked there lives for someone else knowing they were doomed.
Personally what they did was not cowardice. it was intelligent.

Re: looking
That particular situation was not a choice of retreat or continue the fight, and being a former member of the armed forces I have the upmost respect for those who give it all they got. What I was getting at in my post is that there are times when you have to realize that you are better off regrouping and coming back for a stronger fight. I am not saying sitting there and fighting is a bad thing, but making the call to retreat is not a bad decision either.

I think I'm going to go with The ICS M4 RIS Tactical. I've had the M4 Anniversary edition. So I'll try an upgrade version.

Re: looking
Thats ok Drew,
I still owe you big for the barrel tag to the gnutz, now back on target spanky.
Greybush,
The ICS M4 RIS is a gun that will serve as a great woods and CQB weapon. Accuracy is phenominal out of the box andI cant stressenough how durable they are.
