Quality Question

I've never played airsoft before in my life, but i'd love to get into it. I tricked my wife into letting me get a cheap AEG, but my question is, how crappy are these for entry guns?

if its a Dboyi like it says on the box it should be an ok starter gun. Joe has one just like that one

hold on the manufacturer it says on the page is CHL Arms im not familiar with this company but Jbird or Jason would most likely know about it

This unit looks to be as the same quailty of stuff you would find at walmart. You get what you pay for.I would suggest that you come out for a saturday night game. There are players that would be more than glad to sit out a game and let you use an AEG.
When and if you decide to invest. I suggest you look into the following brands. Echo1, D-Boys, or JG
these units start at a price range of $79.00 $250.00.
You can go for upper level AEG's brands as in ICS, Tokyo Mauri, Systema, G&P, or Classic Army. Price range start at $275.00 up to $1500.00
