Head count for 9/6/08

Now aside from my post on the 30th topic, who all will be attending the game on the 6th?

They will be two of us for sure. Give you the exact head count later this week.

Some of you may not know me but I have played at the field before. I'm usually the guy in the SWAT outfit, and I haven't been able to attend due to work constraints. Anyways I'll be there 80% myself or maybe with a friend.

We have 3 100% now and possibly as well as 3 more people who are 50%, and another guy who is 75%.

Hey is there a way to find out if the find ends up being closed because of the strom?

It's hard to tell right now if the field will be open or closed due to the storm. IF it should even hit us.

Why? Think there is not going to be enough people coming because of that event?

I still don't know how i feel about Pungo having night games (it does sound awesome), mostly for the reasons i have listed on the other board. I just have concerns about the FPS limits at that field (i still didn't get a straight answer, but i did get confirmation on some of the injuries i had heard about) and i know some players on this site have had some concerns about this field in general. I do really like the way the field is set up, i just don't know how i feel about it yet. I AM a big fan of SLAP for its night games, although he turn out seems to be getting a little lighter, but that is natural with schools and things starting again.
So in conclusion i don't think that Pungo night games will be a big threat to our turn out, hell they charge 15 dollars just for 6pm to 12am, or and extra 10 for the night game, making the total you would spend in Pungo 30 dollars. I would like to check the field out sometime, because it is huge and they have good ideas for scenarios, but i just have to stop worrying i guess! As for the games the next few weeks i will be at 0% due to work. I hope to get out with some more new players later in the month.

0% on me attending this game. There, that way my post remains somewhat on topic. Seems folks got slightly grumpy about that.

Guys I have be told for the safety and concerns of all. The field would be closed due to the storm. They will be open on sunday.

Working. Almost had to work today, too. They were threatening emergency recall at shift change this morning, but ultimately let us go.

It looks like we are playing tonight if anyone is interested on coming out after you read this.
