L96 upgrades?

Is there anything out on the market as of right now that will upgrade the UTG L96 Shadow Ops? Alot of people have told me no, along with "The gun shoots hot as it is, why would you want to raise the FPS on it?" I figure, if my FPS was higher, and I got a tighter bore barrel then I could possibly raise the trajectory enough to push the BB a bit farther down range. My reasoning for that is I walked at most 160 ft. from my L96 and had a friend shoot me with it, and at 160 feet, I didn't feel a thing. I'm not looking to kill anyone with the BB I just want people to know they are hit from a good distance.

So if anyone has any other suggestions, I am open. I already have my idea of what to do, and that is a custom made 300% spring, and a tighter bore on my barrel. Again, I am open to other suggestions.
